Josh Mason joins the British Racing Drivers’ Club (BRDC) as a full member.

The BRDC is an exclusive and highly respected club, uniting Britain and the Commonwealth’s most successful racing drivers. It owns and operates Silverstone Circuit, the British home of Formula 1, in its role as “guardian of British motorsport.”

On the announcement, Josh said, “Becoming a full member of the BRDC is a huge honour, and I’m incredibly privileged to receive it.

"When I was invited to watch my first British Grand Prix from the club as a guest in 2016, I could never have imagined I’d one day be a member of this prestigious club.

"It's a big step in my career, and I will wear the badge with pride.

"Thank you to everyone involved for making this happen, and a huge thank you to the BRDC.”

The announcement follows Josh's debut in FIA Formula 2 at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, racing on the final step of the Formula 1 ladder.

Josh has previously competed in British F3 and Euroformula Open, as well as in winter series MRF Challenge and Formula Regional Oceania Championship.
